Bubblegum's Reflection
Background: Back in February, I drew an image of a fairy who was on a cliff looking up at the moon. This was just the rough draft in pencil. Had no color or anything. With that being said, I touched it up with color and decided that I was going to name the fairy Bubblegum. You will see down below why though. I was truly just inspired to update it and send it to a customer with the order that she made. I even got the idea to write a poem that will go with my piece.

Two women built from strength, complete opposites in various ways. Learned from the greatest woman of all. The first set the amazing race, while the second followed pace. The first made unfortunate but necessary sacrifices so the second could use the prices.

Just because you appear unscathed, does that mean you were untouched? Maybe not physically, but the internal scars run deep. Like a river, they cut a path chosen only for ease of travel. No resistance; shaping stones. The flow is natural. Self-serving.

Goddess
My #bossmom and all of the women in my life taught me to be strong yet gentle with the hearts and minds of others. I was taught that nothing in this world is out of my reach and to go after every dream no matter how "crazy". I was taught to always do what makes me happy. To always live life with the hope that the universe will never guide me to places I can not survive. The women in my life taught me that we are the creators of the world. Portals between the spirit realm and Earth. We are Gods.
