After years of questioning and searching for answers deep within, she discovered that she felt nothing towards her parents. No love warmed her heart for them, and no longing disturbed her days. After diving deep into her emotions, she confronted this painful truth and asked herself the question she had long avoided: Why? The sorrow gnawed at her as she faced this bitter reality, and the thought of whether this fate would also befall her children weighed heavily on her.

You were supposed to be the one person I could confide in. Hell. You were the one person I could confide in. You were my everything. You were the one person I thought would never hurt me - the one person I couldn't ever picture hurting me. You used to fight to keep me safe.
