The beauty of the crooked.
The beauty of the crooked. I heard a quote about a Japanese tradition that in their culture a broken mirror or a scarred piece of glass is considered to be beautiful. The Japanese readorn the broken pieces of glass and adjoin it in the authentic form of its brokenness and yet call it a piece of beauty.

Choices
Maybe it's not about choosing to love someone else or choosing to fix the external. Maybe it's time to fix you. It's time to fix the internal being. We are called to love, and that's the guiding principle of life. When we love, we are obedient, and we sacrifice as needed. The external fixture is only a mask that will cover the dysfunction of the internal. Value yourself enough to give unreservedly and unapologetically your true self. Maybe right now, it's about your soul. You're being taught how to love and take care of your soul. Maybe today marks the beginning of a new version of you. A version that requires you to focus on your inner being. There is no part of the external gains that can be taken with us beyond yonder. Our hearts and the lives we've inspired to change matter. Are we so spiritual, or are you just civil? When you fix your internal growth, it's reflected externally. What does your character behind the degrees, jewelry, or brand name say about you?
