I had a dream

I had a dream that

I was depressed

I was sad

I felt dejected

I felt alone

I was sick but when I woke up there wasn’t anything different

Everything I dreamt of came through

When people say their dreams come through

I always thought the were talking of good things

But of course I’m the anomaly

I always do seem cursed

I have heard so many encouragement

Just words

I try to feel better

But words mean nothing

You have to show me

Because seeing it’s believing

I know it’s not ideal

But what I can say action speaks louder than words
