That person arrived out of nowhere, Only to drift away into the distant unknown. I once dreamt they would stay by my side, In the humble cottage of our love, forever home. Days turned to months, and months into years, Time flowed on, leaving me behind. I wonder now, in the life they lead, Is it happiness and joy they find?
