even though the sound of it is
such a heatwave ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
Shadows of emotions intertwined
They both thought the other was such a find
Packed up, and they went on the adventure that Heaven sent
exploring all the curves of the caves and rocks
solidifying memories of bonded joy, just as growing stocks
safe from the bullets of their eyes and strife
taking in all the wonderful sights of wildlife
she pulled him by the suspenders for just but a second,
and gave him a gentle peck on the lips,
all the while she delighted in the consistent touch of love's grips.
