glimpse…

then, she was gone

fallen from the highest level of his mind

not as an elevator

but more kin to magic

a short pocket full of light

a whirl of a mysterious spark

a gentle pose, as a smiling beaming glow

the church bells rang

in the towers of his heart

elegance took a brief dance

for the first time in neverland

streams tilled the desert with wild waves of applause

he reached into the river bank of his memory

hoping to hold the sight once again

of the first glimpse

“That first glimpse.” How beautifully placed in our memories those first glimpses are. This is gentle, but there is also a powerfulness to it. Thank you for sharing.

This is so delicate and beautiful! Sometimes little flashes can linger longer than full scenes!
