Forever Moments

Sitting On that blue lake with you,
In that paint chipped, beat up little boat,
Life was different back then, we were free.
Enchanted by the slow rocking of waves,
Not even the birds reached my ear.
Closed eyes, somber soul,
Escaping everything, but the sound of silence.
