I can open my mouth

To make so much noise

But unfortunately you won't hear a thing

An invisible gag

Hands tied behind my back

Another canary unable to sing

I'm free from a cage

But unable to move

Taunted by those who can fly

You laugh at my

Distraught and my anger

Rises to levels sky high

I cannot jump

Wihtout a fall

But cannot ignore the order

I jump once again

I fall yet again

Trapped in this world with no borders

A sucker prisoner

Unrestrained to the world

But so lonely with unseen shackles

Back is bent

Because it cannot get straight

When surrounded by one-toned hackles

A feeling of dread

As my time comes again

Invisibly cuffed as I walk through the door

Now blindfolded

So my pleading eyes

Won't disturb others stuck to the floor.
