Spring Stampede
Rebirth and Renewal

(This poem was written for Mike Singleton's (or Mikeydred's) March Prompt; please see the link for his prompt below.)
**********
I inhale.
The fragrance of floral deities lingers,
Permeating, leaping into the crux
Of me.
I wait.
Harmonious accord rises
Betwixt birds and all of nature,
All ever cognizant
Of the season's rebirth.
I listen.
A dawning composition,
An opera of life fills the air.
Renewal and rejuvenation,
Simultaneous,
Like symphonies exulted,
Spring forth in songs of life's
Progression.
I sigh, relaxing.
Hope surges, rebounds,
Taunting at memories and
My heartstrings.
Like an impetus,
It dances wildly to mark
A chance to begin anew.
I smile.
March's abundance
of new life
Seizes the spring as
In a frenzied stampede,
It revitalizes.....
Yet again.
I exhale.
All is well now
with my soul.

This feels like a completely spot on and poetically beautiful celebration of spring and I love the calmness that I felt throughout, especially from the italicised lines, as DK noted, and those final few lines. Great poem, Cindy, well done!
ππππ Beautifully done, Cindy!!!
Loved the calming breathy feeling of the italicized lines woven throughout! This poem was certainly a breath of fresh spring air!
Beautifully evocative of Spring, Cindy! The birds already celebrate its renewal and if we are wise we celebrate with them! Great challenge entry and good luck!
Beautiful! Really good luck in the challenge. This was so good.
Ooooo! Cindy you left me wishing for spring to hurry up and et here! Great work!!
Beautiful and calming, like a deep breath.
Nature is bounding forward in all its grace. Birds are singing, flowers are blooming, and all-around romance is blooming as well.
This was so blissful! Loved your wonderful poem. Hope you've been doing well

March is the time for rebirth indeed, Cindy!! Always look forward to your nature poems!
I love this! Great renewal! Amazing work!
What a beautifully expressive poem. The imagery of nature's rebirth and the symphony of life in harmony resonates deeply. Even though you have chosen an image is very attractive and you have given more weight to that flower more power from the poem, it is a really, really amazing capture. Also I have noticed from the craters exitmint more competitive in this Vocal
