The mixer hums faithfully, pastry hook thumping a familiar rhythm.
Watch the beast come to life, threatening to escape its confinement.
Feel the stretch of the gluten as you fold and divide the pliable mass
Inhale the heavenly aroma, basking in nostalgia as we wait.
Finally the reward comes, warm, tangy and rich with butter.

I thought I was done with the SensationalII challenge, then we decided to try out a recipe using the discard from our currently maturing sourdough starter. One more can't hurt, right?
Thanks for Reading!

Mmmmmm. This made me hungry and brought me right beside the warm oven, anticipating the delicious first taste with butter on top!
This is a beautiful description. It’s easy to take something like bread making for granted when it’s mass-produced, but you make the homemade product sound so much more rewarding.
Yummmmmm!
