Watching your back

Snake in the grass. It’s hidden trash. Make sure it doesn’t slither past.

Day and night that venomous bite will get you fast.

Presented as a friend it promises to give you life.

When it gives you a Pat on the back check for a knife.

That snake in the grass gave you an apple then said take a bite.

Now every few seconds we live is meant to take a life.

Don’t trust his words because his speech brings death.

Every exchange of words is a last breath until there’s nothing left.

The snake in the grass loves to appear as a friend.

Rub shoulders with his sun and you will meet an end.

Trusting a serpent means your future is a thing of the past.

Want a healthy life? Stay away from snakes in the grass.
