Obsession. It holds on to its prey with a tight grip.

Disconnect or be effected by this mind melting vice grip.

It eats at your soul and you eat at its flesh.

Day and night devil dances. All you do is obsess.

You look for notifications. Checking your phone.

You seek reassurance and you’re checking for tone.

Is it good? Is it bad? Make me happy. Oh I’m sad.

You’re obsessed. You can’t stop it even though you know it’s bad.

Cerebellum is demanding free. Trapped by insanity.

Fed by an ego grounded in the work of vanity.

Does your obsession ever stop and take a long pause?

It never halts while belonging to a lost cause.

You’re a mess reduce to less I must confess you’re obsessed.
