She smoked weed

The paradoxical hypocrisy of creating controlled substance consequences

By Sloane BuellPublished 3 years ago 1 min read

She smoked weed

So now she can’t race, but if you ask me it’s more about our race.

I see the way you look at me with disdain because I will not wrap myself in the flag of a country that detests the color of my skin.

Don’t judge this deity that will not ignorantly bless a country built on sin.

She smoked weed, so now she can’t run.

Land of the free... well maybe for some

But for me

it’s more like that creepy uncle who’s roving eyes won’t let u be

U know the one everyone keeps you from. Being alone wit

You all think Uncle Sam is so legit

Although for me it’s more like the Son of Sam

However Berkowitz at least had the decency to acknowledge the brutality, torture, & pain he did proceed.

But she can not run simply because she smoked weed

The same drug from which the government now gets paid

But push pills to turn he to she to compete with me and your trap will never see a raid

We once played jazz, sang the blues & passed the joint around

Then the gov found that the green is an easy way the lock up the Brown.

Same chains just a different name

Quick exchange you know one replaces the other,

cracks from weed masters for the DT undercover

Where the crills came from I do not know.

Obviously it is something my people never learned to grow.

But ask my 10 yr old nephew what it looks like n of course he’ll know.

But she never took that track.

In fact the one she took both round and flat while she was built for speed

But at her mother’s funeral to cope she smoked weed

So now her Olympic dream she must concede

America the greatest country indeed
