Serpent of Flame, Mirrors of Fear
A Poetic Invitation From A Dragon to Face Your Inner Demons

LOOK AT ME!
I am as gentle as a bee.
A dragon of the haunting night,
Without my masterful knight.
Icy winds cast chains around all who venture outside,
Freezing their ass on a silly autumn hayride.
Who doth dare to come near?
Is it you?
The one who looks ready to bolt with a BOO?
Come closer, my pet
Really, I am no threat.
See my Jack-o- lantern glowing so bright?
I promise you, I won’t bite.
You have nothing to fear.
Unless …..
You have something to hide
So dark and sinister, you are ready to cry.
‘Tis not me who births that fear;
It’s something you have done, my dear.
Ahh, now who wears a sneer?
Can’t handle the fact we are more like peers?
Some advice from this deadly serpent of Flame;
Face your demons, and stop carrying your shame.

That's me told! Great poem 😁
Well-wrought! Sometimes I wonder if it weren't better to leave them behind to burn in Hell, where they belong... yet there is no greater inferno than the sun, so facing them may indeed be a transformative revelation!
This was extremely powerful! Loved your poem!
