Autumn Glory

Acrostic

Autumns Glory

Abundant auburn acorns

Unravel their hold from the fiery trees

Time slows as summer’s energy grows quiet like the fallen leaves.

Unity hovers on the golden horizon

Many holidays will soon appear

No sooner will this kaleidoscope of color

Surrender to a new season

Gone will be the toasty hues

Leaving me with grayish blues

Overcast of misty clouds

Reverberating with heavy snows

Yearning for just one kiss from a warm amber sun.

So beautiful. I admire people who can sing the glory to autumn in words. To me the season is a little depressing as I know winter will be coming.
