A Sonnet In Colour
This is an experiment inspired by my wonderful Muse to write a sonnet in which every line contains a different colourful reference. I donβt know if it is a formal construct, but this is my take on the idea.

On A Ship With Sails of Silver
With Golden Helios Above
Under Grey Skies, Hold The Tiller

I Will Fall Into You Green Eyes
Brush Your Beautiful Golden Hair
On these Cerulean Waters
Give A Red Rose To My Love Fair

White Clouds Above, Cooling Us Down
Dreaming our Dreams, Your Ruby Crown
A Purple Cloak, My Ocean Queen
Mermaids with Red Hearts In Your Sea
