Salt Tears That Tell the Truth

Boys are allowed to cry

Salt Tears That Tell the Truth

The words across his skin are warnings,

a rule carved deep and unfair.

Salt trails speak what he can’t say,

truth slipping past trained silence.

He was taught to swallow storms,

to hide the cracks in daylight.

Tears were called weakness,

yet they fall with honest courage.

Pressure turns a heart to stone

when emotion is locked away.

Still he breaks through expectation,

letting the truth run warm.

A face like his holds stories

he never dared to share.

Pain lives behind quiet eyes,

begging to be understood.

He isn’t fragile for feeling,

he’s powerful for surviving.

Each tear is a rebellion

against a world that demands silence.

Let him breathe without judgment,

let him heal without shame.

Humanity is not a prison—

it’s the reason he rises.

Ink spells out old demands,

rules he never agreed to.

Yet his heart speaks louder,

carving freedom into truth.

He cries, and the world keeps turning,

yet something sacred shifts.

Strength is found in release,

not in pretending to be stone.
