Denial, they say, is a mental state that borders on confusion, insanity & all those states in between…
I don’t know if that’s the correct assessment BUT…
Seems like some person, place, thing or idea has displaced the reality where we began, where we were, how we were & who we were.
This new place looks the same but feels drastically different- the people, places, things & ideas are not the way I remembered.
Remember when people would smile, make eye contact or they’d hold the door while walking—
And our tech was just “so cool” & was utilitarian not Unitarian—requiring worship, a tithe or a tribute a…
Christ, who saves, some would argue; but if they deliver, do they doom???
Techno-theology- where would we be without it??!
In a library, looking up while we eat soup, sitting upright with a stronger pinky, less neck pain, not falling through open manhole covers, engaging & evolving with each other idk— making love.
On a cloud, in the space in between, dancing, listening to music, playing a game, making up a game, having a game…
Night or a date night or a hot night, or a fun night or just some random full night, full of meaningful contact with mental control & undivided attention— instead of being caught in our virtual realities with necks bent, pinkies pivoted, heads down in religious devotion to our — icons, waiting for deliverance or revelry.
