Flowers wither as time goes by,
I wither at the sight of your once-radiant smile.
Hurt is an understatement for how you’ve wounded me,
Ruined by you, I’m left picking up the broken parts.
Or are you content, knowing I’m in this state,
Because of you, my heart’s in a fragile and broken place.
The vibrant petals that once bloomed so bright,
Now droop and fade, like my hope’s waning light.
Your smile, once a beacon of joy in my heart,
Now a painful reminder of how we grew apart.
Did you ever care, or was it all a facade?
Leaving me to wither, my soul deeply scarred.
But despite the pain, I’ll find my way,
To rise again, and heal day by day.
For flowers may wither, but they bloom anew,
And I’ll find strength within, to start anew.
So I’ll let go of the hurt, and set myself free,
No longer withering, but blossoming with glee.
For I deserve a love that’s true and pure,
One that brings smiles that will always endure.
I’ll cherish the lessons, the scars may remain,
But I’ll emerge stronger, through joy and through pain.
No longer captive to your carelessness and neglect,
But empowered, with self-love and self-respect.
I’ll rise above the shadows of your callous ways,
Embracing life’s beauty, in brighter, sunnier days.
With a heart that’s healed, and a spirit so strong,
I’ll bloom again, where I truly belong.
