Lost at sea, the mind does wonder,

As waves crash, a constant thunder.

The wind howls, a mournful tune,

As you search for the light of the moon.

Your thoughts drift, like a ship without a sail,

As you pray for rescue, without fail.

The cold seeps in, numbing your soul,

As you cling to hope, like a lifeline to hold.

But where are you, my dear, my light?

My heart aches, my thoughts take flight.

I long for your voice, your face,

As I wait for your return, in this lonely place…
