Rock and Roll Judas: A Dance with Demons

A Fierce Exploration of Desire, Defiance, and Inner Demons

By Marcelinus ApakhadePublished 2 years ago 1 min read

I don't want you and I don't need you

A tree makes a forest

Give it a couple of seasons

You can't hate me

So I beat you, I know you won't resist

Come here, stand straight

Roll the dice and give me snake eyes

Luck? charm or skill? Does it matter?

Somewhere deep down

You want me and I despise you.

Rock and rock till heaven's Gate

Tell the demons to stand down

I got the challenger blazing hot

The power of greed and fear powers me

The power of greed and fear commands you

The power of greed and fear bestows

Call me the rock and roll Judas

I'm hungry and the devil knows this

We gonna blaze till thy kingdom comes

Everything has been said before

So rara zaza

Gable gable babble babble

Let the demons out

Shout the solemn words

Tell the devil your needs

He's listening

Rebel leading a peace march

Mix the gin and stagger

Blank the voices

Head pounding, volume out of the world

Call it fever, ears bleeding

Head bopping, man's pride

Mental Healthsurreal poetryfact or fiction
