Pirate Joe

A poem

By Mother CombsPublished 2 years ago 1 min read
Nightcafe creation

There once was a pirate named Joe.

Who sailed the seven seas on his own

He had a parrot named Saul.

And a peg leg he called Paul.

And they sailed the seas in search of treasure.

Treasure, he did find plenty

But that rascal Saul,

He brought about a mutiny

Now Joe sits on a desert island

While Saul roams the seas

With Paul in tow

So funny -Love the lightness in this. And also that he named his peg leg! 🤍

  • Clever, funny... But poor Joe ain't got his peg leg!!!

    Oh my, so funny!! 🤣🤣

  • I'm torn between wanting to laugh at Saul and Paul and wanting to feel sad for Joe. Also, I didn't see that twist coming! Lol!

I'm betting Joe is planning his revenge.
