Do you remember the days where phones were scarce?
If one was lost, you’d need a map or a compass.
They came in red booths, then in bricks
Now sleek slabs and some even flip
There was a day when phones were for phoning
How times have changed; it’s incredible
We can write novels, book holidays and go shopping
If you told me this 20 years ago I would think this is strange magic
Smart Phones can make weddings and break friendships.
We can build our wealth and destroy it just the same.
Phones are a wonderful thing it can take us where we want to go
We complain people spend too much time on our phones
But beyond the screen we are building our tribes.
