The knots, undone

Unheld strings, I thought

1000 knots unseen,

100 knots ahead,

40 knots in sight,

20 knots right in front,

11 stung within,

4 take it on the chin,

3 blocking the outlets,

The dampness of the body,

hardening the knots,

**

Loosening even one,

is a weary peace, undone,

Freedom, completely won,

**

Why has it become so hard,

to ease the ruptures in the heart,

piled up from the start,

the infected mind, struggling to depart,

Yet the strength in the peace,

doesn't seem to argue,

but to sit with...

**

TIME'S UP

**

Oh, the crochet class,

**

holding the yarn,

I start with a slip knot,

I end with a surgeon's knot,

**

A beanie hat,

so precious to my style.

About the Creator

Parvathi J

Through my pages, I find the quiet complexities of pain dwelling in a solitary space, burdening life’s endless demands, and unburdening the voiceless noise.

Witnessing the questioning, I speak the deeper silence of my voice.
