Perceptions of me.
Musings in The Lake District

I'm so much more
Than what people see,
As I sit in fresh air, looking at trees.
The tree before me is unbending and strong,
Perceptions of me, are incredibly wrong.
Not power hungry, nor angry, unkind
So much more goes on in my mind.
I deeply care for those that I love,
My heart is given from The unseen up above.
I will not stand for those who tell
A pitiful story, their own agenda to sell.
I am comfortable in my own skin,
Yes a bit chubby, definitely not thin.
Oversensitive I'm not, it's caring I do.
Giving to others, my heart it is true.
