Tranquility

A moment to breathe

Tranquility

Sunlight on my face as I look towards Heaven.

The breeze blows over me,

Grounding me as I contemplate life.

Everything could be easier if we stop for a moment and breathe.

Listening to chatter between and a dad and his children

As they play football in their garden.

With a little point scoring between brothers,

And dad playing referee of them, not the game.

Silence at home. Husband and dogs out now for a walk;

And at last, tranquility reigns.
