So, you have a naughty toddler
Throwing tantrums at the store
Biting,
Kicking,
Pulling hair,
‘til you’re crying on the floor.
You’ve made the right decision
Come to a simple choice
A simple trick to disappear
In child free splendor.
Step One:
Subdue the child
Use duct tape if you must
They can’t be running wild
No, they cannot lose your trust.
Step Two:
Prepare your digits
Cup your hands across your face
While the child fidgets
You’ll be clearing your headspace.
Step three:
Summon sweet Lamia, goddess of the Greek,
She knows your game, she knows your plan,
You’re child’s outcome becomes bleak
Step four:
Finish out your prayer
You’re child soon will get its due
Uncup your face with a little flare
And shout out Peek-a-Boo!

Outstanding poem with a great whimsical finish. Well done!
Oh, dark, I love it! Haha. I'm guessing this one was inspired by an annoying child screaming their head off somewhere in the normal day of Amos.
