Our Colors Don’t Equate

I can think of traditional lines

Ones you desire to hear or you expect to see

But to me they seem like lies told to us all

They don’t illustrate the rain, The storm, The fame, the wildly, the tame or even the wide round world or its sound

To be asked to illustrate the idea of color is like asking Me to describe a world we all see

Equally...

But that’s the Dilemma, isn’t it?

We all see our worlds differently.. as it should be.

one of us can speak of green as:

the tea that I sip by the sea, Only by the sea though you see

Because it calms the waves of emotion inside of me

Or as a place of absolute isolation from society under the trees that canopy over the hypocrisy

One of us can speak of red as:

Burning flames of anger or the opposite which is desire .. red burning flames can mean disaster or luster that burns within the depths of your center

One of us can speak of blue as:

The beauty of the deep blue sea that you wish to immerse your high mountain toes beneath as an act of release or as a vast mass of dread that speak of certain death if you were to merely slip beneath the curtain of black that so easily whispers into your keep

It’s not easy to speak of color as a singular, as a certain or as a particular

My expression of color is not yours nor do I wish it to be so

However, color is a form of expression that illuminates the world into possibilities

Without light or it’s depiction of people’s insight..there would be no color to evaluate.
