''Yet in the Dark, where Sorrow Reigns''

In the silence of the night, where shadows creep,

Lie open wounds, buried deep.

A heart, once whole, now torn asunder,

Echoes pain, like distant thunder.

Tears fall like rain on barren land,

Tracing scars on a trembling hand.

The wounds, they whisper tales of old,

Of love and loss, of warmth turned cold.

Yet in the dark, where sorrow reigns,

Hope flickers faintly, despite the chains.

For every wound, though it may bleed,

Is a seed of strength, a buried need.

The open wounds, they slowly mend,

Stream of Consciousness
