The broken trust
Warm conversations turn cold
Asking yourself “am I worth it?”
You did nothing wrong
Your words were his least favorite song
He only saw your body and nothing more
You ask him how his day was
He asks you for pics because it’s a must
You tell him no
He says “ok” and goes ghost
You forget about him as the days go by
He comes back winning you over with a lie
Nothing has changed
You realize there’s nothing to talk about
You stop giving him the benefit of the doubt
He can’t get to know you on a deeper level
Let him sink to the bottom in misery
Just keep shining with your grace and dignity
