Omer 7 - Gilgul

malchut of chesed

By Chaia LeviPublished 9 months ago Updated 9 months ago 1 min read

One day I will be gone

yet continue on

just as the ones before me

and will follow.

I will find the right ones,

the wrongs ones

again and again

for we are made

of the same intangibles

and have known each other

since the beginning

and will in the end.

No matter the fires, the dread, the rubble,

I will hold your hand in the end—

hold you close to me,

so even as the lonely crossing happens

there will be warmth.

I will find you again,

just as I found you here,

and we’ll walk the new sands

under the old sun,

in our new skins

for our old souls.
