Sun comes up and up we rise, together.
I lead you into town as always,
Linked arms a show of our togetherness and the
Esteem we have from years of shared love and life.
Near to each other, we walk, together,
Comfortable in the rhythm of our steps as one,
Easy in the quiet of our being as beings. Together.

I see these people, a couple, most days, walking as one. There is something unified about them and it brings me comfort, even though I don't know them at all. It is their love and respect for each other that shows with every step.
