Life is not always perfect
And there are times when
we lose heart for a minute
but life is about experiences
I believe that we are meant
to go through dark times so that
we can experience
the victory of
defeating the darkness
and realize that we were
made for more
in the beginning
God created light
not just so we could see
but to give us a contrast
between the light and dark
and sunset was meant for
forgiving and peaceful rest
throughout the dark night
until sunrise signaled a new day
but the enemy has disrupted
our Light with Darkness
we feel resigned to it sometimes
but Christ has given us authority
over the dark places
and it's when we
overcome darkness that
the light seems so
much brighter
and warmer to our
innermost being
and we recognize our
own power to repel
and sweetly revel in it
the destination of happy
is His plan for us
even when we don't think
we "deserve" it. We don't.
it's a gift from our Creator
He gave us advanced
nervous systems so that
He could impart His
attributes to us
He gave our heart
its own nervous system
so that it would do more
than just pump blood
to keep us alive
we were made in His image
not just in body
but in heart, mind
emotions and will
we have the authority
to cast off the darkness
that threatens to ruin us
through lies that control us
and try to snuff our Light
we honor Him by
our victories
our testimony
our unwavering faith
we are made up of
Light and dark
May your Light
always be greater than
the dark.
