Oh sweatpants, oh sweatpants,
I write this ode to thee in thanks.
Though not one to show my neighbours,
From your duty you never wavered.
Thou art holy and holey by other means,
Indeed you were ripping at the seams.
The comfort of home you did provide,
Though fraying at the crotch, I did not mind.
But now that a hole hath appeared anew,
It seems to be time to bid you adieu.
Oh sweatpants, oh sweatpants,
I wrote this ode to thee in thanks.
Although saying goodbye feels dire,
I'd rather this than watch my wife set you on fire.
