Ode To My Bath Towel
Like A Blanket Of Love
Ode to my bath towel...my one true confidant. Ever faithful, soft and fragrant.
Without fail, you are there to hold me.
No matter how I look, you embrace every part of me, making me feel warm and secure.
You are the scratcher of my back, after a long day. The dabber of my toes.
The keeper of my nakedness.
Always there, hanging around to fulfill my every need. From a simple pat of my lips or hands, to the entirety of my being. You are never failing.
I can relax in my scalding hot tub, turning my pale skin, pink, knowing you will be there to dry my moistness.
Sometimes you slip a little, teasing me in the mirror, and we laugh.
You even extend your generosity to others. I have never met one so willing to give of themselves so completely, so unselfishly.
Dare I say, I think I love you!
Even on those days, I leave you in a heap on the floor. Your love for me waits with you. Thank you.
Oh, just between us....I got some new fabric softener, we can try it out later...XOXOXO

PLEASE STOP TAKING YOUR LIFE! It will change as you grow and YOU WILL CHANGE what you know We NEVER stay the same. we are ALWAYS changing and liberating, and learning, and discerning, who WE CHOOSE to take up our space. YOU decide who's showing you grace. YOU decide whose love is true and whether their connection is elevating YOU. DO NOT SETTLE no matter what you were told. DON'T let self-doubt make your mind unfold. YOU HAVE THE POWER to heal and BE BOLD. STAND UP FOR YOURSELF and SPEAK YOUR TRUTH. Follow YOUR OWN PATH and BE YOUR OWN PROOF, that life is worth living NO MATTER HOW HARD, so give it all you got and let down your guard. I know the mental tries hard to take over but know that YOU HAVE MEANING and every day you get a do-over. And when you feel in that dark place, just be still and HOLD THAT SPACE. It's okay to not be okay, but that doesn't mean you should go away. That doesn't mean you should give up, RIDE IT OUT and see what's up.
