Like prints of birds upon the snow
Mark the ground like paper kisses
Love that promises to grow
Telling of hugs and tender wishes
Birthday, Christmas and get well cards
Special moments, marked in time
Sentiments as bright as sparks
Tender words of love, in rhyme
Timeless treasures to look back on
Gentle words of better days
Remembering travels to and from
Happy memories caught in haze
I miss you and get well soon
Encouragement and way to go’s
Sorry for your loss in tunes
Numbered cards to watch the flow
Of life in motion and days of youth
The expression fills the heart
A simple way to offer proof
Of what someone means to you
Cursive or printed in large font
I find it really doesn’t matter
Love really doesn’t take a lot
Just a few words in a letter
