Stray remnants of cosmic power

Shining bright in darkest hour

Ethereal tendrils of the stars

Enchantments cast from afar

Their spectral beauty roams the night

A dancing, twirling, celestial light

Like spirits floating in the sky

Prayers and wishes soaring high

Wonder unique in swirling flow

To few indeed do they show

Symbolic of northern, barren might

The arctic’s music

The northern lights

About the Creator

Willow Walker

Probably the worst poet since the Vogons, but I like to think my prose is a bit better
