NONSTOP

Time is always flying

Invariably, rushing

In a race I'm always losing-

Just trying to keep up

Competing against the clock

Desperate not to fall behind

Losing track of all concepts in my mind

Losing control-

Spinning and crashing out

There's no finding rhythm in a race like this

A sprint without pitstops-

Nonstop

Not so sure I can endure

Unaware of what the gift holds because I'm never in the present

With all to lose

And nothing to gain

And not a thing to keep me sane

Time is a blur and I'm drawn to its limit's allure

Time is a currency, and at a time like this I might as well file for bankruptcy

Time is insufficient but not affecting the one and only omniscient

Time is impatient, without any remaining patients

Not the kind to make payments

A lump sum type of lottery we all have a draw in from birth

An hourglass that sits atop of the earth

We groan as the grains come down

And whine as the clock winds down

Always running out-

In need of more

Twenty-Four in a day-

It's never enough

I lost trace of my steps and forgot my pace

Lost in the blur of the lines crossing me

I can feel what's too fast for my eyes to see

I'm falling behind

Stuck to be catching up forever

In this race- I'm always losing

Rushing

When I shouldn't be competing in the first place

Just taking my-

Time

Father Time is an undefeated champion- whose never fallen out of first place

Always winning- but never our enemy

Always flying- on one-way tickets

A nonstop trip

To the very thing, I shouldn't be rushing
