My Snow Queen
Would Be Perfect In A Troika
This is for my wonderful Muse who is driving in snow and ice, I could see her with a troika pulled by three horses, she will be my Snow Queen.
The music is "Troika" from "Lieutenant Kije Suite" by Prokofiev which was appropriated by Greg Lake for his "I Believe In Father Christmas".

Pulling Her Troika On The Icy Roads
In Winter's Land, Elemental Forces
They Bow To Her Will, My Winter White Rose

These are just some lines about the way I am, there are some rhymes and near rhymes but that is about the closest it comes to real poetry, but I do hope you like it. I have often said I feel lazy when I write a poem, but then find it takes longer than writing fiction, although most of these words came when I was out on one of my works.

Thoughts on Vocal and the way the world is
"Death cannot stop true love, only delay it." โ Wesley in The Princess Bride. I decided to come back to Vocal on a very cold and dark night at the end of December. I had been, and still am, convalescing from a horrible staph infection that had gone misdiagnosed for months. This, paired with the increasing challenges of being healthy, making the best choices for my co-parented child, being a wife, and being a director at a new job, was a lot to manage.
