My Muse, My Daydream, My Wish
Simultaneous

You are a spring breeze
And a summer sea
A winter campfire
And an autumn leaf
❀
You are the north
And south of a compass
The east’s morning greetings
And the west’s setting sun
❀
You are both sides
Of a flipped coin
A starter gun and
A finish line
Hello and goodbye
Said simultaneously
A muted voice and
A crying heart
❀
You are my muse
My daydream, my wish
You are everything
Except for
Mine
❀❀❀❀❀

This is beautiful, and that last line stings. Well done.
Unrequited love is always painful. Beautifully written.

Lovely words, we all want to make dreams come true
Pining away, longing for a dream to be made real. Do they even know?
