After long days full of stress,

I look my best

Trying and prying,

For a way to bring harmony.

Sometimes a book,

Sometimes I cook,

But the best is the soothing harmony

Of a piano in front of me.

Hours and hours spent

Sitting on the bench

Playing the beautiful melodies.

The stress of the day

Flows like a river

From my fingers to the keys.

Making as it happens headway

Towards a sweet release.

The highs and lows of the day

Become the mountains of melody.

Emotions held

Harken to the harmony.

Soon taken form is a full piece

Bringing peace to me

And the stress felled

To the music released.

Sitting now at bay,

My mind has expelled

The problems so I can lay

In my bed and rest.
