Motion Blur

Every thought is a motion blur…

i can't slow down

no...

i can't let them catch up‐

each and every enemy

they chase after me‐

from daybreak to nightfall,

i cannot let my guard fall‐

every line of my thinking,

constantly out to get me

and each idea in making,

set out against me‐

my very own mind,

has turned against me‐

every apprehension is another antagonist

every image that flashes before my eyes produces it's own anguish

any and every thought is a motion blur‐

no...

i cannot hide from this chaos,

my only choice is to run‐

i can't lift my foot,

i can't touch the brake,

lest i break

from daybreak to nightfall

not a moment of silence can i recall

but a constant‐

motion blur

About the Creator

Josh Morgan

Personally, writing began as a creative outlet, to be a means of processing and venting emotion, but it has become so much more. Something I want not to be just relatable, enjoyable and a good read, but to reach someone who is in need.
