Little Judy Grote

She was given a goat

That would only eat things of oat

On days it went out, it wore a coat

And around his neck, he carried a stoat

Now, this goat was all bloat

And couldn’t float

Near as good as a wooden boat

But little Judy sure did like to gloat

About a poem her goat wrote

**

Come young and old.

And listen as my story unfolds.

I was once told.

About a knight who was so bold

That his horse he sold

And he looked for a woman he could hold

So that he no longer slept cold

About the Creator

Mother Combs

Come near, sit a spell, and listen to tales of old as I sit and rock by my fire. I'll serve you some cocoa and cookies as I tell you of the time long gone by when your Greats-greats once lived.
