I haven't yet fallen in love with the things that I should. But her eyes felt like I could see home and her smile was my saving grace. I felt for her the same way the moon felt for the stars. It just so happens that the moon wouldn't be complete without them.

You see, flowers would not bloom without the sun the same way my heart would not beat without blood. It's funny how she was both my flowers and my heart and she created a beautiful garden in the darkness of my world. What I wouldn't give to fall in love with her just one more time.

She had a way about her that reminded me of a sunset. I'd beg the sun to stay where it was so I could spend my life capturing her beauty and her essence. She was my sillouhette when the world ran out of light. And I didn't know it then, but I know now that she was the creator of my light and the darkness took over once she said goodbye.

I didn't dare fall in love with her words or her laugh. Instead, I fell in love with her heart and her soul. The rest just followed and, before I knew it, I was once again proclaimed a fool. They say that love never runs out, but her's, like her days, was numbered. What I wouldn't give to dance in the rain with her one more time.

I haven't yet fallen in love with the things that I should, but I had never been closer to the sun than when I was with her.
