Scottish take on the Love in 50 Words Challenge. It's Burns Night tonight on January 25th, so seems appropriate.

Excellent tribute to Ruth and Rabbie! To wives and haggis and poetry!

  • I'm getting better at reading your Scottish stuff. I do need to do it slowly but I don't struggle like I used to hehehe. Loved your photo and poem!

  • Absolutely gorgeous poemβœ…β€¦ my Scottish ancestry even allowed me to fluently read it πŸ˜ƒ.

This was fab! I love this! And you’re such a romantic! But, come on! Do a recording to go with this! I have a dodgy Scottish accent in my head (eleven - the lift sketch) and I’m sure it would sound a lot better with your voice.

  • Calvin London12 months ago

Nice work, Paul. I had to read it a couple of times to get the accent right. 😁

This was fun, took a bit to "translate" with my tired brain but I love the messaging all the same!!

  • Kelsey Clarey12 months ago

I love this! The accent is fun.

Ah very charming and sweet buddy!! Like what you did here. Nice pic too. Seem to understand this far more than your backward speak. 😁

Aye borrowed a wee bit from Rabbie on hees nigh to answer thee: There’s a pleasure o’ the heart, Ye hae your Ruth your dearest part, And I my darling Mare! It warms me, it charms me, to mention but her name: It heats me, it beets me, and sets me a’ on flame!

And there's a massive picture of me on the page! How awful! The things I have to deal with, I tell you! *Shakes head!*
