Some Loving Thoughts
Another love poem for someone special, you know this is for you
I wasn't sure what song to choose, but "Tomorrow Robins Will Sing" by Stevie Wonder is so uplifting and beautiful which is how you make me feel.
This format is known as the Italian Sonnet, which is split into two parts. The first part flows a-b-b-a-a-b-b-a, while the second can consist of two to three rhyming sets. For this, I chose the simplest, which flows c-d-c-d-c-d.
I have kept my usual very rough iambic pentameter for each line

With every day come new shared pleasures

Holding hands on new roads we share our way
