Love Both Unconditional and True
A Poem about unconditional and true love

Love was made to be patient and kind,
Though unconditional as well as true love seem impossible to find.
Everyone amongst us has used one another's shortcomings to slice them each other right down the middle,
If the definition of love is accurate it's meaning to mankind must mean little.
We strive to indulge petty differences and throw bigger pictures by the wayside,
Others who may be capable of actual love remain passive and simply hide.
While others are driven merely by lust using love as a means to an end,
If someone is lucky enough for love that's supposedly true it shouldn't break or bend.
It's hard for someone to believe in love when they've never felt it themself,
It's like this hidden object shoved in a capped bottle and placed on the highest shelf.
They don't love themselves either and so it's hard to imagine someone else doing what they can't seem to do,
They've learned leaps and bounds of topics of another nature but love is something they've never made it through.
