Sooner or later, one must know

No matter the effort you apply

No matter how you might feel

Nor the words you aim at the sky

-

All will come to the same place in time

To try to pass the same test

One must appreciate what they've got

Embrace it with zeal and zest

-

Find common ground and live well within it

Enjoy the magic of the colors as the sun begins to rise

Hold onto those around you with all your might

And enjoy the feelings of wondrous things seen with your eyes

-

The glisten on morning grass as the light catches the field

The feeling of a good day's work, that is finally done

A hug at the end of the day

Someone to hold onto when it's time for the setting sun

-

Be present during the thrills you will share

Enjoy the sounds of laughter whenever you can

Build memories of good times from the simple to the grand

And know that not all endings are a part of your plan

-

Sooner or later, one must know

There'll come a time that they must face on their own

No matter how they try

Sooner or later, one must walk a hard path, and walk it alone
