Lockdown life Part 1

A Whole New World

By Emma BakerPublished 5 years ago 1 min read

Up before the birds, snow crunching under foot.

All the world is quiet. Or is it? Take another look.

Cracks of light at windows, revealing life inside.

Lockdown laws keep changing, we're trying to abide.

Twenty Twenty changed the way, we think and act and feel.

In Twenty One, we need to take a look at the new "real".

We all have our opinions, on how to end this grief;

Half of us in fear, the other: Disbelief!

Not really surprising with CCP's fake news,

and killing its own people, like Hitler with the Jews :'(

But we need to come together. It's a fact we have to face.

Without a world united, there'll be no human race.

About the Creator

Emma Baker

I've longed to be a writer, since the age of 4

Peter Rabbit was the subject, but since then many more.

I wrote this little poem as an intro into me,

You're soon to discover I fell out the crazy tree 🤪

No more room, so come inside and see!
